Stihl MS Chainsaws 

  Stihl chain saws were originally developed in 1926 as an electric chain saw for the benefit of professionals as well as the weekend user. The Stihl portable gas powered chain saw was a modification from the electric model and produced in 1927. The gas powered Stihl chain saw quickly caught on with professionals such as loggers, landscapers, and construction crews because it could be taken and put to work anywhere without the need to drag along a generator. All that was needed was a little gas.
